Susan Leonhard grew up in Shadow Hills, California, a rural area in the foothills of Los Angeles.  A third generation artist, Susan began oil painting at age 10.  By using the talent that passed down to her as well as her own personalized education, Susan developed her own perspective and style.  Susan's paintings reflect her greatest inspiration--her love of nature.  Residing in Laguna Niguel, Susan enjoys painting the local sites and whenever possible travels to the north shore of Kauai, her favorite location.  "The magnificent Na'Pali coast is the most inspiring and magical place.  It will always remain a special place to rejuvenate my creativity."
